2013 Cayenne Changes
2013 Brings a couple of additions to the Cayenne model range. For the first time in the US, the Cayenne is available with a diesel engine. It's a turbocharged V6 unit making 240 horsepower and a whopping 406 lb-feet of torque. Rated at 29 mpg on the highway, the Cayenne Diesel is theoretically capable of traveling 740 miles on a single tank.The Cayenne GTS also makes its return to the Cayenne lineup for 2013. The GTS occupies the space between the S and the Turbo in Porsche's lineup. Lower and with a meaner appearance than the S, the GTS also makes an additional 20 horsepower thanks to a sportier exhaust system. Acceleration is improved through a shorter final drive ratio. Featuring a couple of unique trim pieces and unique 20-inch wheels, the GTS features much of the aggression of the Turbo at a lower price point.
