The entry-level V8 Vantage may start in the low six figures, but with it comes the heritage and exclusivity of the Aston Martin brand. Even the lowliest 4.7-liter V8 puts out an amazing 420 horsepower, while the 6-liter V12 puts out 510 hp for plenty of horsepower either way. 2011 V8 Vantage Changes
For 2011, the V8 Vantage coupe and roadster remain largely unchanged. 2010 saw the addition of a V12 Vantage coupe to the line, which featured a much larger, more powerful engine, as well as a sport button that changes engine, throttle and exhaust settings to high-performance positions. This year sees the addition of a V8 Vantage S model, which adds slightly more aggressive styling, more power and the V12's sport button. The S also features a standard single-clutch 7-speed automatic transmission called Sportshift II. A special edition V8 Vantage N420 is also available this year, combining select options and colors to celebrate Aston Martin's racing history.
